The commitment and resilience of the girls, coupled with the contagious enthusiasm and expertise of their teachers, have led to our best ever results in the context of grades moving back towards 2019 levels. This cohort has emerged from the pandemic with an unrivalled determination to succeed and we could not be happier for them.
We look forward to welcoming our Year 11s back to school for the Autumn Term (along with our new Sixth Formers), to enjoy a transformational Sixth Form education based in our inspirational new Sixth Form Centre, the Old School House. This incredible building not only provides innovative and creative spaces for our Sixth Form students to study both independently and collaboratively, but also dedicated spaces in which to work, meet business mentors, prospective work experience employers and seek careers counsel. Sixth Formers’ day to day wellbeing is enhanced by the use of a state of the art fitness suite, a café offering delicious snacks throughout the day and bean to cup coffee, as well as a beautiful common room to help them build all important lifelong friendships.
We are delighted to see the measurable impact that this sophisticated and unique learning environment has had on our Sixth Form students to date and cannot wait to see our new Lower Sixth cohort similarly develop their independence and prepare for university, and beyond.
Congratulations again girls – we couldn’t be more proud of you!
