Junior School Production – Matilda the Musical

This year's Junior School musical 'Matilda' was a huge hit! It was a remarkable achievement for the Junior School girls to perform a work of this standard – watch out West End!

Thanks must go to the parents who helped with make-up and hair, and of course to the incredible Junior School staff. The show featured a creative and colourful set design including a pink slide, green swings and a wonderful backdrop by Miss Kay. The costumes were fantastic! The girls playing the kids at Trunchbull’s school were dressed in 60s style costumes with a different colour for each year group – it was a delight to watch! The production was directed and produced by Miss Robinson with Musical Direction by Mrs Floyd. The Year 6s all stepped up and shone so brightly on stage! Their determination and resilience to put on a production of this standard was extraordinary.
