On Thursday 12th May, the UVI celebrated their imminent departure from FHS in style with the highlight of the School calendar: the Leavers’ Dinner. Despite the slightly chilly summer weather, the girls gathered in the playground for drinks and canapés in their finest attire, joined by members of staff who joined them to celebrate. The delicious three-course meal was preceded by speeches from Head Girls Cara and Lily, who reminisced on their time at FHS by issuing a long list of jovial apologies to their teachers for their cohort’s various misdemeanours throughout the years. This was followed by a surprise compilation video curtesy of Mrs Wilkes and Mrs Banks, by the end of which there wasn’t a dry eye on the room! The evening culminated in a packed dancefloor and lots of posing in the photobooth. It was a fantastic send-off for a cohort who will be sorely missed, and we wish them all the best in their future endeavours.
