Senior School Gala Dinner in the Ballroom at Claridge's

On Friday 9th June, we were delighted to gather in the Ballroom at Claridge’s for a very special Senior School Gala Dinner in support of The Promise Campaign and the award of transformational bursaries at FHS.

Entering the beautiful art deco surrounds of the Ballroom’s reception room, guests gathered for a champagne reception underscored by music from our talented student FHS String Quartet, with entertainment provided by a gravity-defying aerial champagne performer. Following a delicious three-course dinner in the Ballroom, speeches were delivered by Chair of the SSPA ,David Sweeney, and Headmistress, Lucy Elphinstone. The live auction then ensued led by expert Cheffins auctioneer, Nicolas Martineau, followed by dancing in the elegant Mirror Room.

We’re delighted to share that £80,000 was raised on the night thank to the unwavering generosity of our FHS community. Thank you to our wonderful Senior School Parents’ Association for organising this spectacular event, and thank you both to those who joined us at Claridge’s and to those who showed their support remotely.

All funds raised from the Senior School Gala Dinner will go towards supporting the award of transformational bursaries at FHS, providing life-changing educational opportunities to young women who demolink.nstrate the promise to succeed.
