Fundraising Dinner at the House of Lords

On Friday 17th March, we were delighted to be able to host a dinner in the Peers’ Dining Room at the House of Lords to raise funds for our Promise Campaign.

This was a fascinating and thrilling experience for all in attendance, in such historic surroundings, and we were inspired by Lady Frederick Windsor (the actor Sophie Winkleman) in her speech about her charitable work providing educational support to the most disadvantaged children.

Receptions were held in the Bishops’ Guest Room and the Peers’ Bar, with views over the Thames, before a sumptuous three course dinner, accompanied by fine wines.

The evening raised in excess of £80,000 through a silent auction and pledges made by generous guests.

We are hugely grateful to all who attended and particularly sponsors and benefactors of the evening.
