Last Friday, FHS Sloane Square welcomed our sister school at Regent’s Park for the long-awaited ‘varsity’ netball match. Starved of external fixtures for so long, the opportunity for competitive play was welcomed by girls from both schools and a great crowd turned out to watch the fun. FHS Sloane Square had the home advantage and with netball the main focus this term, we were delighted with an unbeaten score line in every year group: U12 6-5, U13 17-3, U14 7-6, U15 17-6 and U18 22-6. The skill, determination and hours of outstanding coaching and practice were evident in the clinical amassing of 70 goals against 26. All those early morning practices have paid off. Well done, and well played, both Francis Holland Schools!
