This year's 'Masterpieces Summer BBQ' took place on a gloriously sunny day supported by hundreds of girls, their families and staff.
The school looked exceptionally beautiful, decorated with artwork by parents and girls throughout the school, and topped off with a display of fabulously creative self-portraits in our art competition. Guests enjoyed a simply delicious barbecue, brilliantly prepared by our chef Eddie and his team, accompanied by wine and jugs of Pimms. The school was teeming with activities ranging from the coconut shy to hair braiding, face painting to obstacle courses, the lucky dip to mini golf. Girls decorated their own cupcakes and painted gorgeous porcelain frames, twirled around the cake walk in great anticipation and fiercely competed to guess the number of jelly beans in the jar. We were delighted to have a team of Young Enterprise girls selling their very popular products at the BBQ, alongside our wonderful school merchandise. The silent auction was an enormous success with many kind parents donating amazing art-themed lots and guests bidding so generously for them. The sun shone, parents and teachers grinned and the girls laughed their way through a truly wonderful afternoon!
An enormous thank you to the team who worked so hard to put the BBQ together, the many volunteers who gave up their time to help run the stalls and to the whole community for their outstanding support and generosity and for helping to make the day such a great success.
