Old Girls' News |
Class of 1999 alumna, athlete and Primary School Teacher, Charlotte Cotton, competed in the first World Cup Race in Porto last weekend, coming seventh. Charlotte was one of two recipients of this year's Old Girls' Travel Fund, where she was awarded a grant towards travelling across Europe to compete in this summer's International Mountain Races.
Charlotte has also recently competed in Bulgaria and Madeira, even making the front page of the local Madeiran newspaper! (See main photo.)
Charlotte racked up the highest number of points in the Vertical races that she recently took part in (the uphill mountain running Skyrunning VK open cup), affording her an enviable position when she competes in the finals this October.
Charlotte said, 'I am so grateful and touched by Francis Holland's support which is completely invaluable. Thank you so much.'
