'Where can Classics take me?' Alumnae share their experiences

Many thanks to the alumnae who responded to our request to find out how studying Classics worked for them...

When FHS’s Head of Classics, Dr Sam Hayes, requested to learn how studying Classics had enhanced former pupils’ career and employability prospects, our Classics-studying alumnae were only too willing to oblige! Click here to discover just how studying Classics benefited their careers (and for some wonderful FHS anecdotes too).

Many thanks to alumnae Dr Jane Orr, Melinda Marquart, Helen Tyrrell, Amrita Ganguly, Margaret Grace Laws and Miranda Hills, who are now featured as part of the ‘Where can Classics take me?’ display board (pictures below) in the Senior School.

Thanks to these alumnae, our Classics students are able to glean a wealth of inspiration for their future studies and careers.
