Thank you so much to alumna, Camilla Craven (née Bradley), who spoke to Lower Sixth pupils about her career as Global Brand and Marketing Director at FACEGYM. Camilla left Francis Holland Junior School in 1999, completing her education at Woldingham and Charterhouse, before studying as an undergraduate at University of Virginia, and, latterly, the Chartered Institute of Public Relations.
Camilla, whose visit to FHS on Friday was her first since she left the school in Year 6, encouraged students to ‘dream big’, advising ‘dare to believe’, before discussing her career as Associate Director at PR agency, Halpern, Head of PR and Events at Benefit Cosmetics, before Directorship roles at Charlotte Tilbury, Vashi and FACEGYM.
Camilla discussed the concepts of marketing, PR and advertising, encouraging girls to consider how their lives are impacted by these industries, before taking questions. Engaging and informative, Camilla’s talk provided a fascinating insight into the worlds of marketing and PR, including her own experiences at the very heart of these industries.
