On Friday 27th June 2025, we had the pleasure of welcoming Francis Holland Sloane Square alumni from the Classes of 1998 to 2000, along with former staff, for a delightful reunion at the school.
The evening began with welcome drinks and canapés, followed by a speech from Tom Robertson, Director of Development. Guests were then invited on a school tour, exploring new facilities and revisiting familiar classrooms, bringing back a wave of nostalgic memories.
It was a joy to see so many of our Old Girls, including former staff members Susan Pepper, Anne Margetson, and Christine Remy-Miller. A special thank you goes to Alex Crawford (Class of 1999) and Mina Sokmen-Kossoras (Class of 1998) for their support and enthusiasm in organising this reunion along with Dina Maktabi, our Alumni Relations Officer.
Guests also had the opportunity to browse archive materials and photos from 1998, 1999 and 2000, rekindling fond memories of their time at FHS. Alumni were also given copies of our latest 2025 newsletter, which can be accessed here.
Alex and Mina kindly curated a heartfelt montage of photographs from their time at FHS, capturing treasured moments of friendship, school traditions, and life in the late ’90s. The montage, featured during the evening, sparked warm memories and conversation among guests, many of whom recognised familiar faces and scenes from their own school days.
A heartfelt thank you to all the Old Girls, staff, and the Alumni Association who helped make the evening such a success. Our sincere thanks also go to the catering team for the delicious food and warm service.
We hope to see many of you at our upcoming Tate Modern: Theatre Picasso event on Tuesday 14th October 2025, tickets can be purchased here.
