Wednesday 15th March 2017 is Dads4Daughter Day, a day when fathers of daughters everywhere will be asked to commit themselves to achieving greater gender equality in the workplace – the future workplace of their daughter. For schools, the campaign presents a wonderful opportunity both to tackle the issue of gender equality, and to celebrate the role and importance of modern fathers in their daughters’ lives.
At Francis Holland we are surveying our students, staff and alumni, as well as encouraging our parents to complete a specially designed unconscious bias test in the style of a Harvard IAT test. We are also organising an evening event for parents and daughters to attend, where results of the surveys are shared and discussed.
We would be incredibly grateful if you could spend five minutes completing the survey, which will greatly aid the Dads4Daughters campaign, and hopefully encourage members of our school community to engage in a meaningful conversation about gender equality.
Click here to complete the survey.
We look forward to receiving your responses.
