Our Senior Chamber Choir made it through to the final of the BBC Young Choir of the Year competition 2019.
We were thrilled to see our girls perform on Songs of Praise. There were three choirs in the final and the standard of singing was exceptionally high. Our girls performed Chilcott's 'Psalm 150' and Doerksen's 'Faithful One' with technical assurance, expressive nuance and great confidence. It was a very closely fought competition.
Our congratulations to the worthy winners from Tring Park School - their rendition of 'Steal Away' was fabulous.  A huge thank you to our Director of Music, Helen Vickery for her inspirational direction, careful preparation and brilliant arrangement of our final piece and to Mr Jeanes for accompanying the choir.
