We began the morning with assembly, which included a rendition of A Fairytale of New York, fantastic performances by the Jazz Band and festive debating, where serious intellectual, humorous, and pointed arguments were made on each side about the 'working rights of elves'.
The playground was then filled with Christmas cheer for the Inter-House Chant Competition. It was also a Mufti Day, so each House dressed as elves, angels, snowmen and Father Christmas, and took it in turns to perform FHS-themed songs and chants.
The day concluded by everyone singing The Twelve Days of Christmas which created a wonderful sense of community, before sending the girls off for a well earned festive break.
