Opening on Saturday, 22nd May, the V&A's Alice in Wonderland exhibition, titled Alice: Curiouser and Curiouser, promises to be a sensory wonder, featuring costumes from the 2011 Royal Ballet production - a highly-strung Queen of Hearts - and original illustrations by Sir John Tenniel and early concept art for Walt Disney’s 1951 film adaptation. The 350 exhibits will feature film clips, photography and sculptures and will also look at the wide-ranging influence it has had on everything from Japanese fashions to Salvador Dali’s surrealist sketches.
We are delighted to invite alumni to a Private View of Alice: Curiouser and Curiouser at the V&A on Friday 25th June from 8-9.30am - the first event of its kind offered exclusively to FHS alumni! Please email alumni@fhs-sw1.org.uk for tickets, priced at a reduced rate of £10 each, or register your interest via our Events page.
