We were delighted to welcome back Kayleigh Thadani on Friday, 14th November 2025, as part of our Working Lunch Series. An alumna of the Class of 2006, Kayleigh returned to speak with our current students studying Performing Arts and Ballet across Years 7-13
Kayleigh is a London‑based musical theatre performer, teacher, and coach with over a decade of West End experience. Her credits include Aladdin, White Christmas, Crazy For You. Kayleigh is currently playing Jacqueline Follet in the cast of The Devil Wears Prada at the Dominion Theatre, directed and choreographed by Jerry Mitchell.
After leaving Francis Holland, Kayleigh studied at Indiana University in Pennsylvania and gained a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre and a Bachelor of Science in Fashion Merchandise. She then went on to pursue a Master’s degree at the University of Surrey in Musical Theatre.
During the session, Kayleigh shared her career in the performing arts, reflecting on the discipline, creativity, and resilience needed to succeed in the industry. She spoke passionately about her love for performing and her commitment to coaching others, offering practical advice for those considering careers in theatre and beyond.
Reflecting on her time at Francis Holland, Kayleigh recalled auditioning in Year 1 with Mrs. Cleveland and how the former Head, Mrs. Bown recognised her passion for performing and nurtured her talent. At a very young age, she also won the Fanny Davies Award - a moment she described as confirming her calling to be on stage.
In addition to performing on stage six days a week, Kayleigh spoke about her “No Stress” Self‑Tape Coaching, audition preparation, private masterclasses, and workshops - all designed to help performers and students build confidence and showcase their best selves. You can read more about Kayleigh in our Portrait of an Alumna series here.
The Working Lunch was a fantastic opportunity for our community to hear directly from a seasoned professional, ask questions, and gain valuable insight into the realities of life both on and off the stage. We are deeply grateful to Kayleigh for generously sharing her expertise and enthusiasm, and we look forward to celebrating her continued success on the West End and in her coaching work.
We hope to organise an OGS trip to see Kayleigh on stage in the near future. Stay tuned for more news of our Working lunches, and if you are interested in becoming a guest speaker please email alumni@fsh-sw1-org.uk.
