Working or studying abroad? The Alumni Association is offering alumnae and current Upper Sixth pupils a travel grant of up to £1,000. Preference will be given towards education and charitable endeavours.
The Old Girls' Society created the fund to help current Upper Sixth and former pupils who seek to broaden their education by volunteering or working overseas. Last years winners were Olivia Cuddy (Class of 2015) and Charlotte Cotton (Class of 1999). Olivia visited Trinidad and Tobago as part of her medical elective, and Charlotte raced across Europe in various international vertical mountain running competitions.
The grants awarded cover up to 25% of the total amount which the applicant needs to raise, up to a maximum of £1,000. All written applications for the grant will be considered by the Old Girls' Committee before being offered.
To apply, please complete the application form here: Travel Fund Application Form 2024 and email it to alumni@fhs-sw1.org.uk
Further information about the Travel Fund can be found here: Travel Fund Guidelines
Closing date for applications is 14th April 2024.
