On Thursday 10th January, STEM author Lauren James gave the first Sixth Form Speaker Programme talk of the year.
At this week's talk, Lauren discussed how she was able to bring together her two passions: Science and Writing. She also talked about spending years to come up with the idea of her fiction, working with her editors to perfect it and eventually turning it into a reality. Lauren's best known works are The Loneliest Girl in the Universe, The Quiet at the End of the World and The Next Together series. Her incredibly relatable story inspired many of our Sixth Formers, demonstrating that with patience, you can achieve your dreams.
