On Wednesday 2nd November 2022, Francis Holland School Sloane Square Alumni Association will be hosting a private lecture and admission to the Cezanne Exhibition at Tate Modern. This event is exclusively for Francis Holland School, Sloane Square alumni and will commence at 11am with a private lecture in the Starr Cinema on level 1 at Tate Modern. Guests will then be invited to proceed into the Cezanne exhibition in the Eyal Ofer Galleries on level 3.
The exhibition explores Cezanne’s entire career, seeking to understand the artist as a young painter in the south of France, through to his struggles in gaining the recognition and fame he sought in the country’s capital. Excitingly, the exhibition will feature many works shown for the first time in the UK.
The hour-long lecture will explore the core themes of the Cezanne exhibition and will be presented by a Tate lecturer. The lecture is private and exclusive to FHS alumni.
Cezanne is presented in the Eyal Ofer Galleries and is part of The EY Tate Arts Partnership. We look forward to welcoming you to what promises to be a fantastic opportunity to explore the life and work of Cezanne, a significant figure in the modern art movement.
Tickets are available on a first-come, first served basis and are offered exclusively to Francis Holland, Sloane Square alumni at the reduced cost of £20.00. To purchase your tickets, please click on the Eventbrite link, here.
